What is Verified Pickup?
Verified Pickup is a real-time pickup verification solution that confirms the identity of the carrier, the driver, and the equipment at the moment of pickup, ensuring that the right party is handling the shipment.
It is part of a broader security ecosystem built around Verified Carrier, designed to close a long-standing gap in the verification process and bring real-time control to the most critical moment in the shipment lifecycle.
How does Verified Pickup work?
Verified Pickup connects three key elements into one verified event:
- Verified carrier
- Verified driver
- Verified equipment
At pickup, the shipper scans the equipment and the driver’s ID, after that the system instantly confirms that everything matches the information that was already verified in advance.
Who is Verified Pickup designed for?
Verified Pickup is designed for:
- Shippers who need confidence and control at pickup.
- Carriers who want to operate transparently and protect their identity and reputation.
- Drivers who benefit from a faster and reliable check-in process.
Do carriers need to be verified to use Verified Pickup?
Only carriers that have already completed verification through Verified Carrier are eligible to participate in Verified Pickup. This ensures that every pickup starts with a verified carrier.
Do drivers need to complete verification?
Yes. Drivers must complete identity verification before they can participate. They receive an email invitation from their carrier, which directly links them to that specific carrier. This ensures that only verified individuals associated with that carrier are eligible to pick up loads.
What happens when a driver arrives for pickup?
- The shipper uses the Verified Pickup app to confirm the pickup in real time.
- The shipper also scans the driver’s QR code or the driver’s ID to confirm that the person on site matches the verified driver’s profile.
- The system identifies the equipment through a facility camera or app-based scan and confirms that it is part of the verified carrier’s fleet.
- All key details appear instantly in one place, allowing the shipper to confirm the pickup with confidence.
Does Verified Pickup require special equipment?
Verified Pickup works through a mobile app and a standard device camera, so it can be used on any smartphone or tablet. No additional hardware is required.
Is the process complicated for users?
The process is designed to be simple, fast, and intuitive. The interface is easy to use for all parties involved, and the verification requires only a few clear steps while providing full visibility.
How is Verified Pickup different from carrier vetting?
Carrier verification is a foundational step in transportation security. It establishes who owns and operates the company, validates its history, and confirms key business and compliance details.
Verified Pickup builds on that foundation by extending verification to the operational level. It confirms that the driver physically present at pickup is verified, connected to that carrier, and that the equipment on site is part of the verified carrier’s fleet. Verified Pickup brings real-time control to the most critical moment in the shipment lifecycle.
